June 9–15, 2026 | Your Curated Guide to the Best of the City

Fort Lauderdale doesn't slow down in June, it just gets warmer, more electric, and more alive. Whether you're entertaining clients, planning a night out, or simply soaking in everything this city has to offer, here's your insider guide to what's worth your time this week and weekend.

On Stage: Blue Man Group at the Broward Center

June 11–14 | Au-Rene Theater at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts

If you haven't seen Blue Man Group live, this is your moment. Running through Sunday, June 14 at the stunning Au-Rene Theater, this iconic production blends original music, avant-garde art, and full-audience immersion into something that genuinely can't be described, only experienced. It's bold, it's theatrical, and it's exactly the kind of night out that leaves people talking.

Multiple showtimes available Thursday through Sunday, with Saturday and Sunday offering matinee options. Tickets are still available but moving, grab yours at browardcenter.org.

🎵 Opening Night: Jagged Little Pill — The Musical

Saturday, June 13 | Amaturo Theatre at the Broward Center

Opening weekend for one of Broadway's most fearless productions. Slow Burn Theatre Company brings Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill, a two-time Tony® Award-winning musical to Fort Lauderdale for a run through June 28. Expect raw emotion, unforgettable performances, and a storyline that hits harder than you'd expect. This is the kind of theater that Fort Lauderdale's arts scene was built for.

The Amaturo is an intimate venue you'll want to book ahead. Find tickets at browardcenter.org or slowburntheatre.org.

⚽ World Cup Watch Party on Las Olas

All Weekend | American Social, 721 E. Las Olas Blvd

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is officially underway, and Fort Lauderdale is fully in it. American Social on Las Olas, one of the most social, energy-charged spots in the city has transformed into the ultimate watch destination. With over 100 screens, full-volume sound, and a crowd that knows how to celebrate, this is where you want to be for USA vs. Paraguay on Friday, June 12.

For something more elevated, the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise is hosting official watch parties starting June 12, a venue-sized experience for a world-sized event.

🌅 Rooftop Sunset Season Is Here

All Week | Downtown Fort Lauderdale

Summer in Fort Lauderdale means the rooftops come alive. This week is the perfect excuse to finally make it to some of the city's best elevated perches:

Rooftop @1WLO — Perched above One West Las Olas, this open-air garden lounge sits above the New River with sweeping skyline views. Wednesday through Saturday happy hour features craft cocktails, and Sunday brunch is its own event. This is the rooftop Fort Lauderdale residents keep to themselves.

Sparrow at The Dalmar — Take the escalator to the 25th floor for panoramic views of the city. Sunday's "Paradise Found" sunset gathering brings together house music, a local market, and yes, caviar grilled cheese.

ELEV8 at Hyatt Centric Las Olas — Signature cocktails, pool-side lounge seating, and unobstructed views of downtown. It's a seamless pre-dinner or late-evening destination.

🍽️ Make a Reservation Worth Remembering

Ongoing | Fort Lauderdale Intracoastal

If there's a dinner that defines Fort Lauderdale's luxury dining scene right now, it's Ocean Prime on the Intracoastal Waterway at the Las Olas Bridge. The two-story waterfront restaurant spanning over 15,000 square feet with outdoor terraces on both levels is running their weekday lunch service, and their lounge happy hour Monday through Friday from 4–6 PM is one of the city's best-kept secrets. Father's Day is coming up June 21, and they're already offering special brunch and dinner reservations, book now if you're planning ahead.

For a more intimate experience, Serafina in Victoria Park, a candlelit trattoria on the Middle River is exactly the kind of hidden gem that makes this city feel like more than a beach destination.

🎨 Art + Culture: Pride Month Exhibition at History Fort Lauderdale

Ongoing through June

In honor of Pride Month, History Fort Lauderdale is presenting "Coming Out of the Shadows," a free photo exhibition celebrating LGBTQ+ history and visibility in South Florida. It's a moving, beautifully curated show that speaks to who Fort Lauderdale is a city with depth, culture, and a community that takes care of its own.

Free and open to the public.

💡 This Week's Takeaway

Fort Lauderdale has always had the water, the weather, and the lifestyle. What this week proves is that it also has the culture, the cuisine, and the caliber of events that belong in any world-class city conversation. Whether you're new here or you've lived here for years, moments like these are exactly why people choose to stay.
